Multiple subway lines severely delayed due to downed tree on tracks in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Multiple subway lines are severely delayed during the Thursday morning commute due to a downed tree on train tracks in Brooklyn, according to the MTA.

B train service is suspended in both directions, per the MTA. Subway service on D, N, Q and R trains is severely delayed as trains on other lines are rerouted, per the MTA. The tree fell onto the tracks at Beverley Road.

More Transit News

Southbound Q trains are running along the N line from DeKalb Avenue to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue, according to the MTA.

Check the MTA's website for any changes in service.

This is the second time since the start of the workweek that a downed tree has caused disruptions to subway service. A downed tree in Midwood caused delays to B, D, N and Q trains on Monday, according to the MTA.
