MTA employee punched on the job in random attack in Harlem: NYPD

HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) – An MTA employee was punched in a random, unprovoked attack in a subway station in Harlem on Friday afternoon, police say.

The 66-year-old employee was on the job at the Harlem -148 Street subway station around 1 p.m. on Friday, officials report.

She was standing on the platform when a man approached her and suddenly punched her in the face, according to authorities. 

The employee was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.
