She was taken to an area hospital with bruises on her legs and back, police said.

“They shoved the woman down and started beating her with a bat. I heard her scream like a blood-curdling scream,” a 23-year-old witness told PIX11 News.

Police had not made any arrests Monday, but they identified the two they were looking for and released surveillance footage of the suspected attackers walking on the sidewalk.

“She is shocked, she is scared and in a lot of pain,” the woman's son told PIX11 News.
