Man shot and killed at NYCHA building in Crown Heights: NYPD

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- A 20-year-old man was shot and killed at a NYCHA building in Brooklyn Sunday evening.

The incident happened around 7:10 p.m. at the NYCHA Albany buildings at 1008 St. Marks Ave, according to the NYPD.

Police say the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was unconscious and unresponsive and pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Investigations into the shooting are ongoing. Witnesses told police that two men wearing hooded sweatshirts fled on foot. No arrests have been made.
