QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a man in connection to an attack on a subway in Queens early Monday morning.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. on a southbound E train approaching the 71 Ave-Forest Hills subway station.
Police say a man approached the 36-year-old victim and tried to take things out of the victim's pocket.
The victim pulled out a phone to record what was happening. That's when the suspect took a skateboard from another passenger and hit the victim in the head, according to the NYPD.
The suspect then fled the 71 Ave-Forest Hills subway station. The NYPD released the following photos.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
