Man found dead in backyard of Long Island home: police

EAST QUOGUE, Suffolk County (PIX11) -- Police have launched an investigation after a man was found dead in the backyard of a residence in East Quogue on Saturday.

The victim, Christopher Hahn, 43, of Hampton Bays, was found dead at 9 Oakville Ave at around 9:52 a.m., police said.

Jeremy Allen, the sole occupant of the residence, was arrested Saturday night in Hampton Bays, according to Suffolk County police. Allen faces murder and tampering with physical evidence charges.

The Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
