UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) -- A man was found dead in the Upper East Side Sunday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a 911 call for an assault at 232 East 95th Street at around 1:30 p.m.
The man was found with trauma to the chest and neck, police said. Responding EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police say another man was present at the scene and had sustained multiple lacerations. The 27-year-old was taken to New York Cornell Hospital in serious but stable condition.
The NYPD recovered two knives at the scene. Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine the victim's cause of death.
