Man asks girl, 9, to get on bike with him in Queens: NYPD

RICHMOND HILL, Queens (PIX11) – A man is wanted for allegedly asking a 9-year-old girl to come with him while she was walking to school in Queens last Thursday, according to the NYPD.

The girl was walking to school near Jamaica Avenue and 104th Street in Richmond Hill around 8 a.m. when the man, who was riding a bike, came up to her, police said.

The man asked the girl to get on the bike with him, according to authorities. The girl then ran to her school, where police were alerted of the incident.

The man fled northbound on 102nd Street.

Police describe the man as having black hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with stars and stripes on it and light blue shorts.
