Man accused of using machete to attack straphanger on Bronx subway: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man is accused of using a machete to attack a straphanger on a subway train in the Bronx, according to the NYPD.

Runadieo Jordan, 54, was arrested on Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. Jordan allegedly got into an argument with a man on a northbound No. 2 train near the Allerton Avenue subway station around 1 a.m. on Aug. 31, police said.

The argument escalated when Jordan allegedly took out a machete and hit the victim with it, according to authorities. The man's arm and hand were injured in the incident.

Jordan was charged with attempted murder, assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment.
