Makers of ‘Bougainvillea’ drop yet another song amid the controversial ‘Sthuthi’

Amal Neerad’s upcoming film ‘Bougainvillea’, featuring Kunchacko Boban, Jyothirmayi, and Fahadh Faasil, is set for an October 17 release. The film recently launched its second song, ‘Maravikale’, amidst the controversy surrounding its first song 'Sthuthi'. The new song is sung by Madhuvanthi Narayan, and is composed by Sushin Shyam. Controversy arose from the earlier song ‘Sthuthi’ for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.

Helmed by Amal Neerad, ‘Bougainvillea’ is set to hit the big screen on October 17. The upcoming Malayalam film features Kunchacko Boban, Jyothirmayi, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. Actors Sharafudheen, Veena Nandakumar, and Srinda will be seen in pivotal roles in the film. The screenplay for the ‘Bougainvillea’ is co-written by Amal Neerad and crime-thriller novelist Lajo Jose.

On the technical front, the cinematography for the film is done by Anand C. Chandran and Vivek Harshan is the editor. The choreography is done by Jishnu, and Sumesh. The stunts are choreographed by Supreme Sundar, and Mahesh Mathew.
