Pankaj Tripathi recently attended the trailer launch of 'Main Atal Hu'. The film is all set to hit the theatres on January 19, 2024. At the event, producer Vinod Bhanushali stated that the film was created without any political agenda. He also expressed that Pankaj Tripathi was the ideal choice for the role.
'NO POLITICAL AGENDA BEHIND THE FILM': SAYS 'MAIN ATAL HU' PRODUCER
'Main Atal Hu' is ready for release in theaters on January 19, 2024. At the event, producer Vinod Bhanushali asserted that the film was created without any political agenda. He also expressed that Pankaj Tripathi was the ideal choice for the role.
He said, "Jab unko humne kaha ki sir agar aap haa bolenge toh ye picture banegi nahi toh nahi banengi. Kuch right choices hote hai jo aap karte ho life mein and this is one of the best choices maine aur meri team ne liya hai. Jab socha tha ki hum ye picture banayenge, it was not because of any political reason. Humein lagta hai hum aisi film banayenge jo poori zindagi humein proud feeling de. Jab aap ye journey apne dosto aur talented logo ke saath karte ho, toh ye nikalta hai. Aap iss baat se sehmat honge ki Atal ji inke alawa koi ho nahi akta." (When we told him, "Sir, if you say yes, this film will be made, otherwise it won't. There are certain right choices that you make in life, and this is one of the best choices that my team and I have made. When we decided to make this film, it was not for any political reason. We believe that we are creating a film that will give us a sense of pride for a lifetime. When you embark on this journey with your friends and talented individuals, this is what comes out. You would agree that, apart from him, there can be no one like Atal Ji.)
The producer also added, "Agar aap atal ji ki picture banaoge, toh unke baare mein hi bataoge na? Unhone kya kiya tha. Ab unhone BJP ka sarjan kiya tha, toh bhi aayegi usme. It is the entire span of his life, unke bachpan se leke teen time prime minister jo the, everything is included. Toh ye kehna theek nahi hoga ki ye kisi mancha ke hisaab se film banai gayi hai." (If you make a film about Atal Ji, you will talk about him, right? What he did. Now, he founded the BJP, so that will also be included. It is the entire span of his life, from childhood to being a three-time prime minister, everything is included. So, it would not be accurate to say that this film was made according to any particular agenda.)
To this Pankaj added, "Cinema hai aur agar aapko lagta hai ki bharatiya mattdata prabhavit ho jayenge, toh aap unka kam mulyankan kar rahe hai. (It's cinema, and if you think that Indian audiences will be influenced, then you are assessing their impact at a low value.)
