India Women vs England Women Test Live Score: India captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and opted to bat first at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

England captain Heather Knight emphasized that the Test presents a 'huge unknown' for both teams.

Knight highlighted the importance of approaching the game with the right mindset, acknowledging the significant challenge posed by the Indian women's team, which has not lost a Test at home since 1995 and away since 2006.

Despite the non-familiarity factor, especially given India's two-year hiatus from red-ball cricket, Knight refrained from placing excessive emphasis on this aspect.

"I think it is a huge unknown for both the teams. Obviously, playing multi-format for the Indian girls as well, they have not really done it here for a long time. So yes, it's hugely exciting any time we get to don the whites," Knight told the media ahead of England's training session on Wednesday.

Despite England approaching their 100th Test milestone, the captain was unaware of this record.
