Korean star Nam Joo-hyuk has reportedly been found not guilty of school bullying charges. The actor is currently serving his mandatory military term.
Korean star Nam Joo-hyuk has reportedly been cleared of the allegations.
South Korean star Nam Joo-hyuk has been cleared of the school bullying allegations which was levelled against him by former classmate in 2022, as per reports.
After the investigations, it was revealed that the allegations were false and the accusers were charged with a defamation suit. The accuser and another person have been charged with the suit.
The accusers will be now required to pay a fine, instead of proceeding with a trial.
In June 2022, it was alleged that the actor had bullied the said classmate for a period of six long years, ranging from their middle school to high school years. Later, two more students stepped forward with their own set of bullying allegations against the K-drama star.
However, the claims have been dismissed as unfounded following requisite investigations.
Nam Joo-hyuk is a well-known South Korean star and model who has appeared in popular shows such as Who Are You: School 2015, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, The Bride of Habaek and Twenty-Five Twenty-One among others. He was last seen in the K-drama Vigilante in 2023.
The actor is currently serving his mandatory military term.
