Kannada actor and television host Kichcha Sudeep’s mother, Saroja Sanjeev, died on Sunday, 20 October. She was 86 years old.

Saroja Sanjeev breathed her last at approximately 7 AM at Apollo Hospital, Jayanagar, where she had been receiving treatment for age-related health complications. Despite efforts by the medical team to stabilise her condition, she succumbed to her illness in the early hours of the morning.

Kichcha Sudeep, known for his wide-reaching influence in Kannada cinema, was reportedly by his mother’s side during her final moments. Saroja Sanjeev had been battling health issues for an extended period, and her condition had deteriorated in recent weeks.

The actor, who shares a close bond with his family, has received an outpouring of condolences from fans, colleagues, and the wider Kannada film industry. The news of her death has left many in shock, and tributes have been flooding in on social media.
