Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 sells over 2500 tickets for its premiere shows

It’s showtime for veteran actor Kamal Haasan; he just delivered one of the biggest hits of Indian Cinema with

Nag Ashwin

’s Kalki 2898 AD. The film has crossed over Rs 500 crore, and the actor is now gearing for another big ticket film

Indian 2

. The film is a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster film Hindustani/ Indian and he teams up with

Shankar

for this.

The film is slated for release on 12th July. While the advance booking for the film is yet to kickstart in the country, ticket sales have begun in the United States of America. The film has till now, sold over 2500 tickets amassing a total sale of US $ 65200 ( Rs 54 lakhs) from nearly 540 locations.

shoes for the film and to get into the look of his character, he would spend about 4 hours on the makeup chair just to get the prosthetics done and after the shot, he would spend another three hours to take it off. In the last schedule of the film, for a 9 AM shift he would wake up at 3, hit the gym by 3.30 and sit on the makeup chair by 5.

The film also features Siddharth,

Kajal Agarwal

,

Rakul Preet Singh

and

SJ Suryah

in lead roles. While A R Rahman gave the music for the original, this time around Shankar has roped in Aniruddh for music. Post Indian 2, Shankar would be releasing Game Changer with

Ram Charan

and Kiara Advani.
