Jr NTR, who was last seen in SS Rajamouli's Oscar-award winning 'RRR', was holidaying in Japan for the past week. On January 2, he shared a statement on X (formerly Twitter) that he was back home. He also wrote that he was 'deeply saddened by the earthquakes that hit Japan'. On January 1, a series of strong earthquakes jolted Japan, which resulted in the death of eight people. A tsunami warning was also issued by the Japanese government.

JR NTR AND FAMILY BACK FROM JAPAN AFTER MULTIPLE EARTHQUAKES

Jr NTR and his family members often fly out of the country to spend quality time with each other. This year, he, along with his wife, Lakshmi Pranathi, and his two children, Abhay and Bhargav, spent Christmas and New Year in Japan.

On January 2, Jr NTR took to X and wrote, "Back home today from Japan and deeply shocked by the earthquakes hitting. Spent the entire last week there, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Grateful for the resilience of the people and hoping for a swift recovery. Stay strong, Japan (sic)."

ON THE WORK FRONT FOR JR NTR

Jr NTR has been busy with director Koratala Siva's 'Devara', which will release in two parts. The actor took a small break from work during Christmas 2023 and New Year. On January 1, the makers of 'Devara' gifted a new poster and promised that the first glimpse will release on January 8.

The first part of 'Devara' will release in theatres on April 5. Apart from Jr NTR, the film features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles.
