NEW YORK (PIX11) — Hundreds of Verizon Fios users in the NYC area reported outages Monday for home internet, according to Downdetector.
The most reported issues involve 5G Home Internet and landline internet, users on Downdetector report.
Thousands of outages began pouring in around 6 p.m. Outages were also reported in Upstate New York and Philadelphia.
The company acknowledged the outages in the NYC area and told customers on X that they were working to restore services.
PIX11 News received the following statement from a spokesperson for Verizon: "On Monday evening, some Fios customers in NYC briefly experienced intermittent network issues. The issue was quickly resolved and service is operating normally."
