Hina Khan, who is fighting breast cancer, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her fans and well-wishers through a touching note on Instagram stories. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor was overwhelmed with emotion as she shared that many of her fans have been praying for her recovery, with some even going to the extent of visiting dargahs, keeping rozas, and vrats for her wellbeing.
Hina, who felt loved and lucky for receiving immense love from her, wrote, “I'm so lucky to have received so much love from all of you, and honestly, I have no idea what I did to deserve it. Your kindness truly makes my heart overflow with emotions. From the entertainment business to journalists, sports stars to teachers, corporate folks to doctors, and homemakers — people from all walks of life have reached out to me with so much love and blessings. Most of you don't even know me personally, many didn't know who I was, yet you reached out (sic).”
Further, the actor added, "My WhatsApp and Instagram DMs are flooded with messages, God, sooo much love (folded hands emoji) I'm trying my best to reply to each one of you, whenever I get time, but it seems difficult and might take long. The support I've received from those who've been on this journey before me is beyond incredible and deeply touching. How can I ever repay the kindness, grace, support, and love from all of you amazing fans and supporters (sic).”
On June 28, Hina Khan bravely revealed that she had been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. In a reassuring update, she informed her fans that she has commenced treatment and is responding positively, stating that she is "doing well" and remains "fully committed" to fighting and defeating the disease.
Meanwhile, Hina Khan rose to fame by portraying the role of Akshara in the hit TV show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. She has also participated in TV shows such as 'Bigg Boss' and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'.
