Group attacks man, hits him in the head with a baton: NYPD

SUNSET PARK, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- Police are searching for four men in connection to an assault in Brooklyn on Sept. 22.

The incident happened around 48th Street and 8th Avenue.

Police say a 49-year-old man was approached by four individuals who demanded money.

The victim was then hit in the head with an expandable baton and sustained a laceration to the head, according to the NYPD. EMS took the victim to the Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.

The four suspects did not remove any property, police say. They fled on foot heading east on 48th Street.

The NYPD released the following images of the suspects.
