Tulsi Gabbard is grateful to be her mother’s daughter, and she is letting the world know the same! The Director of National Intelligence of the United States of America took to social media to wish her mother, Carol Porter Gabbard, a happy Mother’s Day.On X (formerly, Twitter), Gabbard shared a few photos of her, with her mother and wrote, “I love you, Mom, and am endlessly grateful and blessed to be your daughter. Thank you for being a living example of how to be truly happy — living your life to love, serve, and be pleasing to God.

On Instagram, the American politician and military officer shared a few more photos of her and her mother, ranging from her toddler days to military days.

Along with those photos, Gabbard wrote, “My mother embodies all that is love — strength, courage, patience, kindness, warmth, humility, kindness and more. I love you, mom, and am endlessly grateful and blessed to be your daughter. Thank you for being a living example of how to be truly happy — living your life to love, serve and be pleasing to God.

Who is Tulsi Gabbard’s mother?

Tulsi Gabbard's mother, Carol Porter Gabbard, hails from a multicultural household.

Carol was born to German and European parents but found herself drawn to Hinduism and got converted before Tulsi's birth. Her Catholic Samoan husband, Gerald Michael Gabbard aka Mike Gabbard, later joined her in the faith.

Raised in a multicultural household, Carol became interested in Hinduism. Tulsi is also a yoga enthusiast and regularly practices Yoga and meditation.
