, 2022 (Goa Act 16 of 2022) will come into effect.
As per the act, any notice which is required to be given under a
state law

like cell phone, computer or any other device via email, web-based forms etc, where such person or his authorised representative gives consent in writing for service of notice on him by such mode.
Notices are not served on time due to a shortage of manpower or because the recipient cannot be located. Govt had introduced the Act in July 2022 and had got it passed.
