On the wee hours of Tuesday morning, Govinda accidentlally shot his leg with a bullet. The actor was immediately rushed to the Criticare hospital in Juhu which is near his house. The doctor removed the bullet from his leg and the actor is now safe. As fans have been worried, Govinda has now reacted to this incident, and assured his fans that he's safe.
The actor said in a voice note which sounds a bit slurry due to medication or anesthesia.
"Namaskar, pranaam, main hoon Govinda, aap sab logon ke aashirwad aur maa-baap ka aashirwad, guru ki kripa ke wajah se goli lagi thi par woh nikaal di gayi hai. Main dhanyavad deta hoon yahan ke doctor ka, aadarniya doctor Agarwal ji ka aur aap sab logon ki prarthana jo hai, aap logon ka dhanyavad, pranaam (I am Govinda. Thanks to your blessings, my parents’ blessings, and the grace of my guru, I was shot, but the bullet has been taken out. I thank the doctors here, especially Dr. Agarwal, and I appreciate all your prayers).”
Meanwhile, Govinda's manager had confirmed the incident earlier and said, "Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed
revolver
in the case when it fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now.”
Reportedly, this incident took place at 4 45 am on Tuesday morning and his wife was not at home when this happened. He is taken care of, by his daughter at the hospital.
