QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 13-year-old girl was raped in a Queens park on Thursday, according to the NYPD.
It happened inside Kissena Park around 3:30 p.m. A boy and a girl, both aged 13, were approached by a man armed with a knife, according to authorities.
The man stole both of their cellphones, forced them into a wooded area and raped the girl, police said.
The suspect took off running, according to authorities.
Police describe the man as in his 20s and short with curly hair, dental braces on his teeth and a tattoo of a boar or bull with red eyes on his chest. He was last seen wearing red sneakers and carrying a green backpack.
