. According to Sacnilk, the movie has sold over 2 lakh 90 thousand tickets and has pocketed

in advance booking.

'Fighter' garnered a net collection of Rs 61.5 crore in India during its two-day run in theatres, across all languages. The film raked in Rs 39 crore net on Republic Day. This Siddharth Annad directorial is already flying towards the Rs 100 crore mark.
'Fighter' revolves around the Balakot airstrike conducted by the Indian Armed Forces near the town of Balakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. This counter airstrike targeted the alleged largest camp of the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). It features Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty, Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore aka Minni, and Anil Kapoor as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky.
