earthquake
struck the
Hindu Kush region
in
Afghanistan

The epicentre for the quake, which struck at 2.50 pm IST, was 241 kilometres north northeast of Kabul. Afghanistan was rattled twice by quakes of Magnitude 6 and above since October last year.
The quake triggered panic among people, with many in Delhi and the National Capital Region reporting shaking of furniture.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties.
Earthquake jolts parts of Pakistan
A 6.0 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Pakistan, according to the country's meteorological department. The epicenter of the quake was in Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, the Pakistan Meteorological Department posted on X. The 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck at 2:20 pm (local time) in the Hindu Kush region at a depth of 213 kms.
