At least 20 people were killed and more than 90 injured in an Israeli attack on housing tents in
Gaza

Khan Younis
, news agency Reuters reported.
The Hamas-run Gaza government described the attack as 'a big massacre', claiming that civil emergency service members were among those killed.
"The Israeli occupation army conducted a big massacre by bombarding the tent camps of the displaced in Khan Younis.
The horrifying massacre killed and wounded more than 100 people, including members of the Civil Emergency Service," Hamas-run Gaza government media office said in a statement.
The Hamas-run health ministry on said Thursday said that at least 38,345 people have been killed in the war between Israel and Hamas, and a further 88,295 people have been wounded in the
Gaza Strip
since the war began when
Hamas
militants attacked Israel on October 7.
