Karnataka Rajyotsava

Taliking about the significance of this day, Shivakumar stated, "As a Bengaluru development minister, I am ordering all companies and educational centers to hoist the Karnataka flag."
Shivakumar highlighted that nearly 50% of Bengaluru's population comprises individuals from outside the state, making it crucial to foster a sense of local pride and celebration during Karnataka Rajyotsava.
He underscored the importance of respecting the Kannada language and culture, urging institutions to prominently display the Karnataka flag on their buildings.
In addition, the deputy chief minister warned pro-Kannada organizations against resorting to unlawful actions, asserting, "It is mandatory that all institutions and companies hoist the Kannada flag that day."
