HOW IS THIS MSc PROGRAMME DIFFERENT?
Key features differentiating this programme from other MSc programmes in the country include:
- Emphasis on quantitative biology: The curriculum prioritises quantitative biology as a core subject, addressing the current job market's demand for proficiency in big data analysis and presentation.
- Flexible electives: Students have the flexibility of choosing from an open basket of electives.
- Practical learning approach: The programme focuses on "learning by doing" rather than traditional instruction. All core courses incorporate a practical or analytics-based component, eliminating purely theoretical courses.
- Real-world exposure: Encouraging projects/internships in academic laboratories, start-ups, or industry settings during the last semester enhances students' real-world exposure and eventual employability.
