Cooling centers on Long Island to beat the heat

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) – Looking for a place to cool off during the stretch of abnormally hot weather this week?

Cooling centers are open across Long Island as temperatures surge over 90 degrees. Officials are warning people to stay hydrated, stay in a cool place and reduce outdoor activity.
