CLAT Seat Allotment Result 2024: The
Consortium of National Law Universities
has released the
CLAT Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2024
today, January 08, 2024. Candidates who participated in the second round of allotment can check their allotment status on the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The second provisional allotment list is for the
5-Year Integrated Law Programme
and LLM.
Each National Law University (NLU) has published its list of allotment results. Those provisionally assigned seats in the second round of counseling must go to their assigned law colleges and finish the admission process by January 12, 2024.
A qualified candidate who receives a seat based on their preferred NLUs must pay a non-refundable Confirmation Fee of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty thousand rupees) before choosing either the 'Freeze' or 'Float' option in the First, Second, and Third counseling rounds. The Confirmation Fee is a one-time payment for the entire Admissions and Counseling Process.
How to Check CLAT 2024 Round 2 Provisional Allotment Result?
Step 1: Visit the official website of
CLAT 2024 counselling

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the CLAT 2024 Round 2 seat allotment result
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page, click on the desired NLU link
Step 4: A PDF of the seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Download and take a printout of the same for future reference

Admissions Counselling Process
Candidates who have been allotted a seat at any NLU may exercise any of the 'Freeze,' 'Float,' or 'Exit' options in a counselling round based on the following conditions:
- If a candidate is happy with the assigned seat, agrees to it, and doesn't want to participate in further seat allocation or counseling rounds, they can opt to 'Freeze' the seat.
- To 'Freeze' their seat in the First, Second, or Third counseling round, the candidate needs to pay the Confirmation Fee within the specified timeframe mentioned in the Admissions Counseling Calendar in paragraph 7 below.
- Candidates who choose the Freeze Option and pay the Confirmation Fee in the First, Second, or Third round will not be considered for subsequent counseling rounds.
- Candidates opting for the Freeze Option in the First, Second, or Third counseling round must settle the remaining University Fee (after adjusting the Counseling Registration Fee and Confirmation Fee) with the relevant NLU by May 14, 2024.
