FLUSHING, Queens (PIX11) -- Mets fans may already be eager to make their way to Citi Field this season, but now there's an exciting new incentive for everyone, whether you are a die-hard baseball fan or a foodie looking for a new experience.
Citi Field has been named the winner of the 2025 USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice travel award for Best Baseball Stadium Food, beating out Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and Petco Park in San Diego.
"We appreciate this award as it was voted on by our fans. It means a lot to the organization for Citi Field to maintain its reputation as one of the top culinary destinations in sports and entertainment," said Mets Vice President of Ballpark Experience James Benesh. "We pride ourselves on creating the best ballpark experience for our fans, and high-quality food options are a key component of the fan experience.”
Ballpark favorites at Citi Field include Pat LaFrieda's filet mignon steak sandwich, Wok n' Roll's cinnamon bun eggroll, and Pig Beach BBQ.
Food fanatics should watch for special celebrity chef appearances throughout the season. Judy Joo, Adam Richman, JJ Johnson, and Kwame Onwuachi are some of the celebrity chefs whose menus will be on display around the ballpark.
