NEW YORK (PX11) --- Thousands of people are expected to attend the annual Lunar New Year Parade in Chinatown Sunday afternoon.
The 26th annual parade kicks off at 1 p.m. at Mott and Hester Street. The route will then go down Mott Street before heading east along East Broadway. The parade then turns up Forsyth Street and will conclude near Grand Street by Sara D. Roosevelt Park.
This year is the year of the dragon, which symbolizes power, luck and honor.
