NEW DELHI: In a shocking turn of events, five individuals were crushed underneath an SUV that overturned during a car stunt in the parking lot of a market in Colorado Springs.
According to reports in TMZ, the disturbing incident unfolded as the SUV sped backward, performing donuts with people hanging out of the windows and sunroof. The horrifying crash was captured on video and widely shared on social media, revealing the vehicle overturning and trapping five people beneath it.
Eyewitnesses rushed to the aid of the victims, attempting to lift the overturned car and rescue those trapped.
However, one person recording the incident cautioned against flipping the car back over, citing the presence of someone on the other side.

Responding to the scene, Colorado Springs Police Department officers said, "The vehicle rolled over and onto the individuals who were hanging out the windows."
The driver, identified as Marisol Wentling, was apprehended and charged with reckless driving. Wentling did not sustain severe injuries and has been released on bond.
The victims were swiftly transported to nearby hospitals to receive treatment for "serious, life-threatening injuries," according to the police. Preliminary investigations suggest that the gathering at the mall was specifically organized for performing donuts in the parking lot. The authorities however noted that the incident remains under ongoing investigation.
