Brooklyn shooting leaves two people in their 70s injured: NYPD

BROWNSVILLE, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man and woman in their 70s were shot in Brownsville late Saturday night, according to the NYPD. 

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. near Livonia Avenue and Powell Street, police said. A 71-year-old woman was shot once in the leg and twice in the torso, and a 70-year-old man was shot in the leg, according to the NYPD.

Both were rushed to an area hospital in stable condition. 

No arrests had been made, but police identified multiple people of interest, according to police sources.
