Bronx teen fatally shot in the head identified by police

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A 16-year-old was fatally shot in the head in the Bronx Monday evening, according to the NYPD. 

Alberto Roque, 16, of the Bronx, was shot in the head on East 162nd Street near Third Avenue around 9:08 p.m. Monday, police said. He was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead Tuesday, police said.

Police had not made any arrests Wednesday.

Just last week, three people were shot during a child's birthday party in the Bronx, according to witnesses.
