CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed at a NYCHA building in Brooklyn Sunday evening, according to the NYPD.
The shooting happened around 7:10 p.m. at the NYCHA Albany buildings at 1008 St. Marks Ave, police say.
The teen was found unresponsive and unconscious with gunshot wounds to the chest, police say. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as Tristan Sanders.
Investigations into the shooting are ongoing. Witnesses told police that two men wearing hooded sweatshirts fled on foot. No arrests have been made.
