NEW YORK (PIX11)—Bob’s Stores, a privately held GoDigital Brands subsidiary, will close all its locations and liquidate all its inventory. The closure is set for July 14, 2024, the company announced on Monday.

Bob's will be the latest retail chain to close its doors. All Bob's stores will hold going-out-of-business sales, with items discounted by 30 to 70%.

"We regret that our financial position necessitated the liquidation of Bob's Stores, said  Dave Barton, the president of Bob's Stores. “Bob's has been a stalwart of our local communities for nearly 70 years, and we know our customers remember us as having been there for major moments in their lives. We remain grateful to our vendors, suppliers, customers, and employees for all of their support over the years."

Bob’s Stores opened its doors in Connecticut in 1954 and became synonymous with offering, on average, 20,000 pairs of shoe options. They also sported a wide variety of rugged workwear from Carhartt, Dickies, and Timberland Proat at affordable prices in the North East region, according to their store profile on Linkedin.

Bob's Stores will continue to honor all gift cards and merchandising credit until the close of the business on July 14. We encourage our customers to use them before this date.

Bob’s Stores has been in business for 70 years; their website has gone offline.
