ASTORIA, Queens (PIX11) --- A suspect with blood on his clothing was taken into custody after a man was stabbed to death in a Queens club early Monday morning, according to police and sources.
The 55-year-old man was stabbed once in the chest in the Agenda Lounge at 28-18 31st St. in Astoria at around 2:20 a.m., according to the NYPD. The victim was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
Sources said that a witness at the club identified the suspect before he was taken into custody. The man had blood on his clothing, sources said. The charges were still pending.
It was unclear what prompted the attack or if the victim knew the suspect.
