BJ Medical College secures first rank at state level quiz competition in community medicine

PUNE: A state level quiz competition was organized by the
Indian Public Health Association
last month at which third year undergraduate students, named Rusheel Gidwani and Anushka Dhokha won the final round of the competition for BJ Government Medical College. The winners beat MBBS students from various medical colleges across the state and competed with four other medical colleges that had qualified for the final round namely; Grant Medical College-Mumbai, Govt Medical college-Nanded, ACPM Medical college-Dhule and Govt Medical College-Gondia.
In the quiz competition, the preliminary round was initially conducted in five sections. Rounds were held in Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Aurangabad and a total of 42 medical colleges had participated in this. Dean Dr. Eknath Pawar, deputy Dean
