JAIPUR:
Bhajan Lal Sharma
, the CM-designate of Rajasthan, will take oath at the Albert Hall in Jaipur's Ramniwas Bagh on Friday (December 15). PM Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and other senior politicians will attend the oath-taking ceremony.
Raj Bhavan has confirmed that governor Kalraj Mishra will administer the oath to Sharma as CM.
Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa, who have been projected as deputy CMs, will take oath as cabinet ministers. Raj Bhavan official statement clarified that only two cabinet ministers will take oath. It has put an end to the possibility of six-eight cabinet ministers taking oath on the same day. Expansion of the cabinet is likely to take place before the national meeting of the BJP on December 22, sources said.
The swearing-in day coincides with the birthday of the CM-designate. "Party leaders have decided to celebrate his birthday and organise blood donation camps in Jaipur soon after the oath-taking ceremony," said a senior BJP functionary.
