Barstool founder Dave Portnoy to bring back NYC's One Bite Pizza Festival

RANDALL'S ISLAND, MANHATTAN (PIX11) – Barstool founder Dave Portnoy is bringing back his One Bite Pizza Festival to New York City this fall, organizers announced on Tuesday.

The second annual festival will bring together over 10,000 pizza lovers to Randall's Island on Sept. 14 to taste test some of the most famous pizzerias in and around the Big Apple. Pizza places featured in this year's festivities include Lucali, Sally’s Apizza, Patsy’s Pizzeria, Prince Street Pizza, John’s of Bleecker Street, Di Fara Pizza, Frank Pepe Pizzeria, Napoletana, Angelo’s Pizzeria South Philly and more.

Everyone who attends the festival will also get access to an Italian dessert village, according to organizers. There are also cocktails and cold beer available for purchase.

The event is held in two sessions, with one starting at 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the second at 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. VIP ticket holders get to access the event 30 minutes before the sessions begin, per organizers.

The all-you-can-eat pizza festival tickets start at $149.99. Presale tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. and open to the public at noon the same day.
