The trailer showcases a small village area in Tamil Nadu where an alien appears out of the blue.
Sivakarthikeyan’s character, Raghu, accidentally meets the alien and gets shocked by the event. Sharad Kelkar can be seen as the main antagonist. The later part reveals how the actor comes to terms with the alien, and they together try to help people on earth from a serious attack. The trailer also features Rakul Preet and Isha Koppikar in some scenes. This marks Isha's comeback to the Tamil movie industry after 23 years.

, the film is the first Indian film to have 4500 visual effects shots. The dubbing for the Alien character is done by Siddharth, and the dialogues help to keep him close to the actors and the plot.
Moreover, AR Rahman is the music director of this movie. 'Ayalaan' is a science-fiction film where the planet faces some off-guard threats, and the cast, including Bhanupriya, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, and Bala Saravanan, keeps the comedy alive in this movie.
