JAIPUR: A
female crew member
of a private
airline
was
arrested
at Jaipur airport Thursday morning after a
CISF
ASI lodged a complaint alleging she slapped him when he asked her for security screening.
The woman, too, filed a counter complaint of sexual harassment against the ASI, and the airline backed its employee.
The scuffle took place when the woman was entering the airport and was stopped by the ASI, who said she did not have valid permission to use that gate.
The ASI reportedly asked her to undergo screening, but no female CISF personnel were available at the gate at that time. While the ASI called for a female personnel for the security check, the argument had already escalated.
The airline added it was taking legal action in the "case of sexual harassment" against its woman employee. TNN
