1 year ago 17

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in the liquor policy case. Mr Kejriwal has been called in on Thursday. This is the second time the central agency has summoned the Aam Aadmi Party boss; the first was on November 2. Mr Kejriwal skipped the summons, opting instead to campaign for his party in Madhya Pradesh.

Mr Kejriwal had then also called the summons "illegal" and demanded it be withdrawn.

"Standing in Delhi, they are threatening every day that they will arrest Kejriwal.... It doesn't matter if he arrests us, Kejriwal is not afraid of going to jail. You will arrest Kejriwal's body... how will you arrest Kejriwal's thoughts? You will arrest this one Kejriwal... how will you arrest thousands, lakhs and crores of Kejriwals?" he said.
