OMG – Oh My God
!’
Apoorva was around 16 years old when she filmed "OMG – Oh My God!" She played Jigna Mehta, the daughter of Kanji Lalji Mehta, portrayed by Paresh Rawal.
"I think it's the most fun I've had on a film set," Arora recalled. "There were many other kids on set, so it was fun. I shot for around 20 days, but it didn’t feel like I was missing school for this. It actually felt like going to school," she said, reminiscing about her experience.
The young actress also reminisced about her co-star Paresh Rawal’s remarkable work ethic, and dedication to his craft. “Working with Mr. Paresh Rawal was a learning experience. I remember he would shoot for the film during the mornings and perform in the theatre in the evenings. Back then, I didn’t completely understand that this man really loved his craft so much that he would find the energy to do both,” she continued. “I often wondered how he managed it,” she added.
'OMG – Oh My God!' directed by Umesh Shukla, won the National Film Award for best adapted screenplay. The film also featured

, Om Puri, Govind Namdeo, Poonam Jhawer, Puja Gupta, and Mahesh Manjrekar in pivotal roles.
