ASTORIA, Queens (PIX11) -- A new affordable housing lottery has opened up for a building with a parking garage in Astoria.
The affordable housing lottery is for the Amara, a new building centrally located in Astoria at 31-90 29 Street.
The building has 28 available units, including studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Building amenities include a parking garage with assigned parking spaces, electric car charging stations, patios, and balconies.
Apartments are pet-friendly. There is a maximum of one pet per unit.
The property is listed on the NYC Housing Connect website, an online portal where people can find and apply for affordable housing opportunities in New York City.
Applications for the 83rd and 2nd Apartments will remain open until Nov. 27. The eligible income range is $78,000 - $218,010.
