NEW YORK (PIX11) -- With the 96th Academy Awards just over a week away, AMC Theatres is presenting nine of the best picture nominees on the big screen for just $5.

“This year’s nominees range from hit blockbusters like 'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer' to more intimate films such as 'Anatomy of a Fall' or 'Past Lives,'” read a statement on AMC's website. “Seven of the nominees are selected as part of the AMC Artisan Films programming, recognizing films that are driven by innovators and encourage discussion, with fresh, diverse perspectives.”
