MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Authorities have arrested and charged 4 teens accused of attacking a 17-year-old boy during a fight in Times Square in February, police said.
The group repeatedly kicked, punched, and stabbed the teen in the back near West 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 22, according to the NYPD. The boy was rushed to a hospital and is expected to survive, authorities said.
Authorities charged two 15-year-old boys with gang assault and assault on Monday, police report. A 16-year-old and 17-year-old were also charged with gang assault and assault, authorities said.
Six people, including five teenagers, have already been charged in connection with the stabbing on Feb. 23, according to the NYPD. Four more suspects are suspects sought in connection to the incident.
Authorities report that a total of 16 people are connected to the incident, police said.
