BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police are investigating three separate deadly shootings that happened overnight in Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.
The first shooting happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday. A 37-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his neck on Schenectady Avenue in Crown Heights, according to authorities.
Police said he was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced dead. A person of interest is in custody, according to authorities.
Officers were then called to Atlantic and Rockaway avenues in Bed-Stuy around 11:30 p.m. for reports of a person shot, police said. A 28-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, according to authorities.
EMS transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. A blue Mercedes may have been used as a getaway car, according to authorities.
A 35-year-old man was discovered with a single gunshot wound to his head on Hall Street in Clinton Hill around 2:45 a.m. Thursday, according to authorities. He was transported to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police have not identified the victims yet pending family notification.
