2 women accused of entering Long Island home without permission: NCPD

FRANKLIN SQUARE, Long Island (PIX11) -- Two women were allegedly caught entering a home on Long Island without permission on Sunday morning, according to police.

A 30-year-old woman was lying down in her basement window on Park Lane around 1 a.m. The woman said she heard "aggressive knocking" at her basement door, according to police.

Police said the woman followed the sound and allegedly found Ashley Dunn, 27, of North Bellmore, N.Y. and Kelly Walsh, 27, of Denville, N.J., inside her home without permission.

Dunn and Walsh started to attack the victim. They pulled the victim's hair and punched and slapped her several times, according to police.

Police arrived at the home and arrested Funn and Walsh on burglary charges, according to officials.

According to police, the victim knew Dunn and Walsh.

The victim has injuries to her head, neck and chest but refused medical attention, police said.
